Jesse Weber is an American attorney, legal analyst, and television host. He is NewsNation's chief legal analyst and, since January 2026, host of Jesse Weber Live, a weeknight program at 11 p.m. Eastern built around crime, courts, and breaking news. His connection to unidentified anomalous phenomena is through that show's coverage, which in 2026 regularly took up government UFO files, the deaths and disappearances of scientists, and military witnesses.

Weber studied political science at the University of Michigan and earned his law degree cum laude from New York Law School, then practiced at the law firm Dentons. He became a familiar legal commentator on Fox News, CNN, HLN, and CBS, guest-hosted HLN's Crime & Justice, and also trained as an actor, appearing in Showtime's The Loudest Voice.

His broadcasting career grew at the Law&Crime Network, where he anchored coverage and in September 2020 launched the nightly program Prime Crime Tonight. In 2022 he co-hosted Law&Crime's daily Sidebar podcast on the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation trial. He joined NewsNation in March 2023 as a legal contributor and guest anchor, the network announced his own late-night hour in December 2025, and in May 2026 he added a podcast, Hot Take with Jesse Weber.

UAP stories became a recurring strand of his show in 2026. He interviewed former Air Force officer Robert Salas about the 1967 missile shutdowns at Malmstrom, ran repeated segments on missing and deceased scientists, and hosted Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb on the expected file releases and later on orbs in the government's footage, where Loeb raised Chinese drones as one possibility. After the first official release in May he convened a panel with a former astronaut and a Disclosure Foundation representative. He also aired an interview with the parents of Chandra Levy, the Washington intern killed in 2001, who said they believed her death might be connected to UFO knowledge; researcher Joe Murgia called that segment pure speculation.

Weber's significance in the UAP record is as one of several NewsNation hosts who folded the subject into a mainstream nightly news format. His legal and crime-reporting background shaped how his program approached it, through records, investigations, and unanswered questions about specific cases.
