Mario Nawfal is a Lebanese-born Australian entrepreneur and social-media personality who runs one of the largest news-aggregation accounts on X and hosts live discussion shows under the name The Roundtable. His connection to unidentified anomalous phenomena is as an amplifier: in 2026 his account pushed government file releases, witness claims, and viral sighting videos to an audience of millions, often without sourcing.

Born in Lebanon, Nawfal moved to Australia with his family at age six. He founded the kitchen-appliance retailer Froothie in 2013, which paid a penalty in 2015 over a misleading sale price, then founded the blockchain consultancy IBC Group in 2017 and co-founded NFT Technologies in 2020. In 2023 NBC News reported claims from former associates that he owed them money; Nawfal said he was the target of disgruntled former partners and would repay what he owed.

His rise came on X. He drew Elon Musk's attention while hosting live audio spaces in 2022, gained hundreds of thousands of followers in a day with coverage of the 2023 Wagner mutiny in Russia, and has interviewed heads of state including Belarus's Alexander Lukashenko. NPR reported in 2025 that Elon Musk had interacted with his account more than 1,200 times and that Nawfal said fact-checking posts was not his team's job; it also documented false claims his account spread. The New York Times reported that his company sells access to his reach, including promotional mentions on his shows. By late 2026 his account had nearly four million followers.

UFO and UAP material became a steady part of that output in 2026. His posts highlighted claims from American Alchemy episodes, the deaths and disappearances of scientists, President Trump's promises to release files, and each PURSUE release, sometimes adding unsourced assertions such as that four distinct species had been recovered or that a file pointed to an alien base on the Moon. He also amplified former Brazilian defense minister Aldo Rebelo's remarks about Varginha.

Nawfal's significance in the UAP record is as a high-reach distribution channel rather than a source. His account helped carry the 2026 disclosure story far beyond specialist audiences, while blending verified government releases with speculation in ways critics say blur the line between the two.
