In early 2026, Pope disclosed that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer that has metastasized to his liver, describing the condition as terminal and stating that he “can’t beat it.” He issued this diagnosis from his home in Tucson, Arizona. His announcement expresses gratitude—not regret—for his life’s work, and a hope that he has “helped move the needle forward” in the UAP/UFO field.

This interview is from 2014 and I wanted to share since his recent passing. In the interview Nick says, “there is a time when the people can push against a door, and for years and years that door doesn’t move. But gradually, it opens a crack. And once you then get your foot in and shove, sometimes those doors are completely open.”
