GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) is a U.S. school program for gifted students, and since 2026 the subject of unverified claims that it screened children for psychic research tied to UAP.
GATE, short for Gifted and Talented Education, is the name of California's state program for gifted students and a common label for gifted tracks in schools across the United States. In UAP circles the term now also refers to an unverified claim, publicized in 2026, that gifted testing was used to identify children with psychic abilities and steer them into covert research connected to unidentified anomalous phenomena.
The educational program has a documented history. California replaced its Mentally Gifted Minor program with GATE around 1980, and since the 2013-14 budget the state has folded GATE funding into its general school funding formula, leaving programs to local districts. At the federal level, the Jacob K. Javits Gifted and Talented Students Education Act of 1988 funds research and demonstration grants rather than local programs. Separately, the government's interest in psychic abilities is also documented: the CIA- and Army-backed remote-viewing work later known as Stargate ran from the 1970s until 1995. No released record links that work to school gifted programs.
The 2026 claim comes chiefly from Jordan Jozak. Writing anonymously as "Martin" in 2024, he said he was screened through GATE from about 2004 and moved in 2008 to a facility with roughly 40 children in Defense Department-funded work, while acknowledging he could not validate parts of his memory. In a June 2026 interview with Jesse Michels, he said he was pulled from a GATE test in rural New York at age nine, given a "pink drink," and later trained to remote-view and to guide craft with his mind. Neuroscientist Julia Mossbridge had earlier said she believes children in her own childhood gifted program, called SOAR, were quietly tested for psychic ability. No documents, school records, or agency statements supporting these accounts have been published, and press reports have described the claims as unverified.
The GATE story matters less for any confirmed fact than for what it shows about the 2026 disclosure debate. It joined accounts of psionics and consciousness-based contact that rose alongside claims about the private group Skywatcher, and it drew on a real history of government psychic research. Similar details, such as the pink drink, recur across accounts, which supporters read as corroboration and skeptics as a shared online narrative.
Prof. Avi Loeb & Tim Pool discuss a mysterious metallic disc flying saucer hovered over Chicago’s O’Hare airport before shooting off straight into the sky In November 2006 at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, multiple United Airlines employees and other witnesses reported a metallic gray disc hovering silently above Gate C-17 for several minutes. The object then shot straight upward at high speed, punching a clean circular hole through the low cloud cover with sunlight visible through i...
As a hobby I’ve been working on the past 8 months. I’ve run an independent UFO/UAP archive, encyclopedia, and database site, and I'm trying to test a claim that gets repeated a lot in the community but has apparently never actually been studied: whether people identified as gifted as kids report anomalous/UFO-type experiences at higher rates, specifically as adults. Right now there's no real data on it in either direction. There are dozens and dozens of anecdotal and witness testimonial accou...
Eric will never be able to live SOL Salad Gate down! 🥗 🤣😂🤣 https://t.co/IB0YcVEtEr [Quoted] Dr. Eric Davis - Like a Prayer (2026) https://t.co/jtw91m2bIh
This memory just popped into my head this morning, which I hadn’t thought about in years. Back in the early 80’s, I was in the GATE program in Albuquerque, where there are lots of facilities nearby for super-secret stuff. I remember two unusual things related to aliens back then. The class I was in had 3 teachers, one of whom had a husband who worked in one of these facilities, according to her. She said they had a grey alien there and that it liked ice cream. Posted on the wall was a newspap...

Neuroscientist Breaks Silence on GATE Program and NHI - Dr. Julia Mossbridge | ep. 99
Was the CIA’s Remote Viewing Program Just a Cover for Secret Tech? Everyone treats the CIA’s Remote Viewing (RV) program like a Cold War embarrassment—“psychic spies” that didn’t work. But that explanation never really holds up. RV ran for over 20 years under multiple names (SCANATE, GRILL FLAME, CENTER LANE, STAR GATE). Truly useless programs don’t survive that long, across administrations, with repeat funding. The real question isn’t whether psychic viewing is real. It’s why humans were use...
Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) in the United States has been systematically used to identify children with anomalous cognitive and “psychic” abilities and funnel them into covert psychic development programs. Jordan Jozak says he was plucked out of a standard GATE test in rural New York at age nine, the start of a years-long grooming process that pulled him out of his school, away from his parents, and eventually into a facility where he was administered substances and subjected to expe...
Does anyone remember Max Spiers? About 9 years ago or more, while already deep into the subject I stumbled across Max and his YouTube interviews. There was always something to it, a bit of truth in between all the crazy but then again, back then, none of it was taken into any serious consideration. Today, while watching the latest Jesse Michels with Jordan Danjozak, talking about Mitre and GATE, I thought I heard something of this sort before. Then Jesse uses the term super soldier and the me...
Jordan Jozak was piloting a UFO through his consciousness when it got hit by a directed energy weapon 👽🛸 It is thought that some of the UFO crash retrievals are brought down by directed energy weapons which neutralize their plasma field. Jordan told Jesse Michels he was recruited as a child through the GATE program into psionic training tied to UAP and non human intelligence. After leading operations with Skywatcher, he walked away. "We need less military... What we actually need is the pub...
