A November 1953 Air Force report records Arvel Lee Daniel and John Junior Bricker’s account of a blinking white-blue light at Prince George Airport while guarding a B-29. The witnesses described pauses, a climb and a westward departure during roughly four minutes. Capt. James T. Mitchell recorded the cause as unknown, with no physical evidence or interception.

A March 1955 Catalina Island file records Paul J. Carr’s approximately two-second sighting of a bright light descending straight down. Capt. Clifford E. Brant judged the path and duration consistent with a probable meteor. The index card calls it possibly astronomical and says the brief sighting did not warrant further investigation.

This Project Blue Book file preserves Delbert C. Newhouse’s account and film submission from the 2 July 1952 Tremonton incident. Newhouse said the sky supplied no fixed reference for estimating distance, size, altitude, or speed. Navy analysts favored an unidentified light-source interpretation under disputed assumptions, while later reviews considered balloons, birds, insects, and mirage; one 1956 study remained inconclusive before an Air Force memo adopted a seabird explanation.

This Air Force correspondence file follows film-analysis requests, witness statements, interservice coordination and physical-evidence inquiries during 1952. It includes Newhouse’s explicit limits on estimating the Tremonton objects, the effort to recover a misplaced Mariana film copy, and FBI examination of a reportedly burned cap.
