The Bledsoe “Regulus prophecy” doesn’t hold up, even at a basic astronomy level. First, Regulus is not a red star and has never really been referred to as a red star historically. It is a blue white star. Calling it “red” is just incorrect unless you are stretching to explain atmospheric distortion near the horizon.
