Matthew Brown later identified himself publicly with a related disclosure account and described his route through sensitive material. AARO and the Defense Department have not verified the extraordinary interpretation, and a plausible-sounding architecture can still combine authentic procedures, misunderstood compartments, or secondhand reporting.
