This document is an FBI FD-302, a form the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) uses to record interviews. This FD-302 records a January 2026 interview with a former employee of the Department of War, in which the interviewee describes an incident potentially involving unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in October 2023. An FBI digital rendering based upon the observer’s description accompanies this document, under the title FBI-UAP-D027.

As it traveled away from them, along the trailing, flat, back edge, it had what appeared to be a band of silverish blue light.
The witness said one side banked toward vertical without an apparent change in path or elevation.
Just before they lost sight of the UAP, the left side of the triangle banked up quickly to an almost vertical orientation, but it did not change path or elevation.
The witness reported no sound, vibration, static, or other physical effect as the object passed.
The UAP was completely silent, and QJ did not feel any rumble, static, or any other effects from the object as it passed over him.
