FBI-UAP-D037, FD-302, “Multiple Red Lights,” 2026
An FBI FD-302 records a 2026 night observation of multiple red lights through both unaided vision and night optical devices. The witness described changing positions and elevations, later low-level lights, a 25-minute discrepancy affecting one mechanical watch, and no reported physiological effects.

Probed Assessment
Key takeaways
- A witness described dull-red lights that appeared dash-shaped to the naked eye.
- Through night-observation devices, the lights appeared circular with the halo normally produced around light sources by that equipment.
- The first two unidentified lights reportedly disappeared after about 20 minutes.
Why it matters
This 3-page official record adds page-located primary-source material to the public history represented in Release 05. Its value lies in what the document records, not in independent confirmation of every reported event or estimate.
Corroboration
The assessment is grounded in the official PDF, reviewed page text, and faithful source excerpts. Statements attributed to witnesses or agencies remain source claims unless separately corroborated in the record.
Open questions
- • Which reported observations or technical estimates can be independently corroborated from contemporaneous records?
Probed separates this editorial assessment from the source claims below. It summarizes what the released artifact supports; it is not independent verification.
Official Description from War.gov
This document is an FBI FD-302, a form the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) uses to record interviews. This FD-302 records a 2026 interview with a U.S. person, in which the interviewee describes three incidents potentially involving unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) in the western United States occurring within a 5-hour period in 2026. A second individual who was present at the time also provided an interview, recorded in this collection as “FBI-UAP-D040.” Two FBI digital renderings based upon the observer’s descriptions accompany this document, under the titles FBI-UAP-D038 and FBI-UAP-D039.

Source Claims
Claims are attributed to the released source and remain distinct from Probed’s assessment and tracker findings.
A witness described dull-red lights that appeared dash-shaped to the naked eye.
described the lights as “dash” shaped and dull red in color to the naked eye.
Through night-observation devices, the lights appeared circular with the halo normally produced around light sources by that equipment.
P| relayed that, despite being “dash- shaped” to the naked eye, the lights appeared “orb-like” or circular through the NODs, with the characteristic “NOD halo” around them, which is typical when looking at a light source through NODs.
The first two unidentified lights reportedly disappeared after about 20 minutes.
After approximately 20 minutes, both of the aforementioned unidentifiex lights disappeared.
A later similar light was estimated about 600 meters east and roughly 500 feet above the vehicle.
Sometime between 10:00pm and 11:00pm, 9 observed another, similar unidentified light appear approximately 600 meters (estimated) to the east of their position and appeared to be approximately 500 feet above their vehicle.
The witness found a 25-minute difference between a watch and the time shown by a phone and vehicle clock.
i noted the discrepancy, compared the time displayed on his watch to the time displayed on his phone and observed that the time on his watch was 25 minutes ahead of the time on his phone and the vehicle’s digital clock.
The witness reported no physiological effects and said attempts to identify the objects were unsuccessful.
