Probed Analysis

Brett Feddersen is a former Army aviation and intelligence officer, Pennsylvania state trooper and senior federal security official who moved into the counter-drone industry. He entered UAP coverage as an interviewee in the 2025 documentary The Age of Disclosure, where he discusses aviation-safety concerns about unidentified objects, and in May 2026 he told a Fox News audience that such technology is not man-made.

According to his professional biography, Feddersen began with the Pennsylvania State Police as a patrol officer, undercover narcotics detective, homicide detective and helicopter pilot. In the U.S. Army he served as an aviation and intelligence officer, flew as an air mission commander and pilot-in-command, commanded attack, reconnaissance and air assault units, and took part in operations in the Balkans, the Middle East and Southwest Asia, reaching the rank of lieutenant colonel. He holds a bachelor's degree from Geneva College and a master's degree from Duquesne University.

His government career spanned the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon and the White House. He was a senior adviser to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on Pakistan and Afghanistan and to the commander of a special operations task force in Afghanistan. As director for transportation and border security on the National Security Council staff, his biography says, he created a national framework for countering drone threats and helped produce a presidential order on domestic drone use that protected privacy and civil liberties. At the Federal Aviation Administration he was executive director for national security programs and incident response, a Senior Executive Service post covering intelligence, crisis management and cybersecurity.

In the private sector he led his own consultancy, the Feddersen Group, served as president of AccelerātUM, an uncrewed mobility and aviation security firm, and became vice president of strategy and government affairs at the counter-drone company D-Fend Solutions. In September 2024 the Security Industry Association named him chair of its counter-UAS working group, which focuses on drone threats.

The Age of Disclosure, which premiered at South by Southwest in March 2025, pairs Feddersen with former Navy pilot Ryan Graves on aviation safety. On Jesse Watters Primetime on May 28, 2026, he described advanced technology in U.S. airspace as a national security and flight-safety threat, saying in a widely shared clip that "this type of technology is not man-made." Ross Coulthart called the remark an extraordinarily significant admission. When Jay Stratton published his memoir in October 2026, Feddersen was quoted crediting Stratton with "the institutional foundation he built" to bring the subject into the open. His published biographies list no UAP-specific government assignment, so his standing on the subject rests on the airspace-security career he describes and the drone-threat lens he brings to unidentified objects.

The New Jersey drone wave remains an enigma to me. This post develops one of my earlier theories: some of the activity may have been sanctioned testing. That would still leave room for ordinary aircraft, unrelated drone flights, and genuine UFO sightings. TL;DR: Could some flights have tested both advanced drones and the systems meant to detect them? Reports of large aircraft, offshore activity, and failed detection make that possibility worth investigating. Sentient, an intelligence-analysis...

Former U.S. intelligence official Jay Stratton’s new memoir, Out of the Shadows, is being released tomorrow and is set to reveal groundbreaking new information about the U.S. government’s long-rumored UFO crash retrieval and reverse engineering program. Here’s what Brett Feddersen, a former director at the White House National Security Council, said. “Jay Stratton’s legacy isn’t just what he uncovered; it’s the institutional foundation he built so the truth could finally be dragged into the l...
