The Age of Disclosure is a feature documentary directed and produced by Dan Farah. It premiered at South by Southwest on March 9, 2025, and later received a limited theatrical and worldwide digital release through Prime Video in November. Built almost entirely around interviews, the film presents 34 people with government, military, intelligence, or political backgrounds as participants in a shared account of long-running UAP disclosure.
Its central thesis is sweeping: interviewees allege that non-human craft have been recovered, that parts of the U.S. government and private industry have attempted to reverse-engineer them, and that major powers are engaged in a secret technological competition. Former UAP Task Force director Jay Stratton and former Defense official Luis Elizondo carry much of the narrative, while politicians including Marco Rubio discuss the difficulty of assessing extraordinary claims made by cleared personnel. Farah treats the testimony as converging confirmation rather than as a set of claims requiring separate case histories.
That approach gives the film unusual access and political weight, but also defines its limitation. The documentary does not publish the classified imagery, materials, program records, or laboratory results that its strongest assertions imply. Its official participants can establish that the debate exists inside government; their status alone cannot verify each account of non-human intelligence. Reviews consequently split between admiration for the breadth of the interview roster and frustration that the film asks audiences to accept testimony without the underlying evidence.
The film’s significance is cultural as well as factual. It packages the post-2017 disclosure movement in polished, national-security language and places insiders rather than civilian witnesses at its center. Unlike an investigative chronology of one incident, The Age of Disclosure is an argument about institutional secrecy and strategic urgency. It has become a defining media statement of the modern disclosure position, while the claims it advances remain disputed by AARO’s published historical findings.
